BLOQ Quantum Partners with Srirama Engineering College to Drive Quantum Education in Andhra Pradesh

Kerala-based quantum technology developer BLOQ Quantum Pvt Ltd has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Srirama Engineering College (Sree Rama Engineering College) in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The partnership marks the first dedicated institutional quantum computing initiative in the Tirupati region, aiming to build regional capacity in quantum software development, workforce training, and research.

Under the agreement, Srirama Engineering College will integrate the cloud-based BLOQ Quantum Computing Platform into its curriculum and research workflows. The platform provides faculty and engineering students with hands-on exposure to quantum circuit programming, algorithm design, and simulation environments, with a specific focus on Quantum Machine Learning (QML) applications.

Led by Sreekuttan L S, CEO of BLOQ Quantum, and institutional leaders including Chairman Mannem Ramireddy and Principal Dr. K. Jayachandra, the collaboration establishes a framework for joint academic research, technical workshops, patent filings, and industry-tailored skill development. The initiative supports broader national efforts under India's National Quantum Mission (NQM) to expand quantum education and technical expertise across tier-2 and tier-3 academic hubs.
