IonQ Raises Full-Year 2026 Revenue Outlook to $450 Million–$460 Million Post-SkyWater Consolidation
IonQ has raised its full-year 2026 revenue outlook to $450 million–$460 million, incorporating financial contributions from SkyWater Technology after its acquisition on July 31, 2026. This revised outlook is due to SkyWater's operations accelerating physical QPU manufacturing throughput, with 256-qubit processor wafers fabricating three times faster and delivering 12 times more wafer lots every six months.

Trapped-ion quantum platform developer IonQ (NYSE: IONQ) has updated its financial guidance for the full year 2026, projecting total revenue between $450 million and $460 million. The updated outlook accounts for financial contributions from semiconductor foundry SkyWater Technology following the completion of its acquisition on July 31, 2026, alongside the elimination of intercompany revenues recognized under prior commercial supply agreements.
The revised revenue range incorporates five months of operational revenue from SkyWater (August 1 through December 31, 2026) operating as a wholly owned subsidiary. Consolidating SkyWater's pure-play foundry and advanced packaging business units into IonQ's balance sheet has directly accelerated physical QPU manufacturing throughput. Fabrication cycle times for 256-qubit processor wafers are executing 3× faster, delivering 12× more wafer lots every six months with five prototype lines running in parallel production, driving an expected throughput exceeding 100 learning cycles per year.
The financial guidance update preceded IonQ's joint Investor Day, where management presented an integrated technical and commercial roadmap. By pairing internal QPU research with onshore DMEA Category 1A Trusted Foundry facilities in Minnesota, Florida, and Texas, IonQ aims to accelerate fault-tolerant scaling while scaling commercial revenue across federal defense contracts, commercial foundry customers, and enterprise cloud access.
