IQM Quantum Computers Acquires Quantistry Assets to Form Full-Stack Industrial Simulation Platform

Superconducting quantum hardware developer IQM Quantum Computers (Nasdaq: IQMX) has completed an asset acquisition of Berlin-based Quantistry GmbH, a developer of cloud-native chemical and materials simulation software. The transaction includes Quantistry’s proprietary software, algorithm libraries, and intellectual property. The acquisition occurred following IQM's business combination with Real Asset Acquisition Corp. (RAAQ), which listed the company on the Nasdaq Stock Market.
[ IQM - Quantistry Acquisition Matrix ]
Acquisition Target ──► Software applications, IP, and chemical simulation algorithms of Quantistry GmbH.
Corporate Structure ──► Traded on Nasdaq (IQMX) following a business combination with RAAQ.
Industrial Sectors ──► Automotive, aerospace, chemical, materials science, and pharmaceutical R&D.
Quantistry’s software platform integrates high-performance computing (HPC) with quantum chemical algorithms. An architectural feature of the platform is a machine learning layer that automates workflow routing across classical HPC infrastructures, AI computing environments, and quantum backends. This software allows industrial research teams to model molecular geometries and physical properties without requiring specialized quantum computing or chemical simulation expertise.
IQM plans to integrate Quantistry's software applications with its superconducting quantum hardware infrastructure to establish an integrated software-hardware development platform. Quantistry's technical, quantum chemistry, and software engineering teams will join IQM to maintain development continuity. According to IQM CEO Jan Goetz and Quantistry CEO Dr. Marcel Quennet, the integrated platform will allow industrial clients in the automotive, aerospace, chemical, and pharmaceutical sectors to deploy classical simulations, machine learning configurations, and quantum hardware backends within a unified ecosystem.
