Deep33 Ventures Launches $150 Million Fund for U.S.-Israel Deep Tech Corridor
Deep33 Ventures has emerged from stealth with an inaugural $150 million fund, having completed a first close of $100 million. Headquartered in New York with offices in Tel Aviv and Los Angeles, the firm established an "allied infrastructure corridor" designed to bridge Israeli engineering and U.S. industrial demand. The capital is targeted toward the physical foundations of the artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem, focusing on four core verticals: Quantum Computing, AI Infrastructure, Advanced Energy, and Robotics.
The fund's investment thesis centers on addressing hardware and energy bottlenecks currently constraining the global AI investment cycle. While software layers continue to advance, Deep33 identifies physical capacity—specifically power, compute efficiency, and deployment infrastructure—as the primary constraints for the next decade. The firm intends to support companies transitioning from post-research development to large-scale commercial and governmental adoption, particularly within the U.S. national security and industrial sectors.
The leadership team follows an "expert-first" model, incorporating technical leads from national security and specialized research backgrounds. Col. (Res.) Joab Rosenberg, former commander of the IDF's Talpiot program and a quantum physicist from the Weizmann Institute, leads the Quantum vertical. Maj. (Res.) Yael Barsheshet leads the AI Infrastructure sector, while Ori Amsalem (formerly of Arkin Capital) manages the Energy vertical. The fund is chaired by Lior Susan, founder of Eclipse Ventures, and led by General Partners Lior Prosor and Michael Broukhim.
Deep33 has confirmed five initial investments as of its launch. These include Quamcore, a developer of superconducting quantum computing architectures for large-scale systems; CyberRidge, a post-quantum encryption platform; and Particle Labs, which focuses on energy-efficient particle accelerator technology. The portfolio also includes two undisclosed companies currently in stealth mode: one developing oil-free chemical production and another focused on AI infrastructure optimization to increase GPU utilization and reduce operational costs.
