Infleqtion and Safran Launch Integrated Quantum Timing Solution for GNSS-Challenged Environments

Infleqtion (NYSE: INFQ), a specialist in neutral-atom quantum technology, and Safran Electronics & Defense have announced the commercial availability of a quantum-enabled precision timing solution. The system integrates Infleqtion’s Tiqker™ quantum optical clock with Safran’s established White Rabbit and SecureSync® synchronization platforms. Aimed at defense, telecommunications, and critical infrastructure sectors, the solution is designed to provide a resilient, independent alternative to GPS and GNSS timing signals, which are increasingly vulnerable to jamming, spoofing, and natural disruptions.
Technically, the integrated system aims to provide a significant upgrade over traditional satellite-based timing. In a recent live demonstration conducted with Quantum Corridor, the hardware validated picosecond (PS) level accuracy, a substantial improvement over the nanosecond (NS) accuracy typical of standard GPS systems. By maintaining this level of precision in real-world environments, the solution ensures continuity of operations for mission-critical systems even when GNSS signals are denied or compromised.
The partnership leverages Infleqtion’s full-stack quantum sensing capabilities alongside Safran’s global distribution network for civil and military equipment. This collaboration enables the immediate deployment of precision timing architectures across allied defense and global telecom networks. As part of its broader roadmap, Infleqtion continues to utilize its neutral-atom platform to develop a portfolio spanning quantum sensing, networking, and fault-tolerant computing, recently demonstrating materials science applications using logical qubits in collaboration with NVIDIA.
