Infleqtion Awarded $1M Navy Contract for Quantum-Inspired RF Signal Processing

Infleqtion (NYSE: INFQ) has received a $1 million Phase II contract from the U.S. Navy to advance its Quantum-Inspired Rapid Context (QuIRC) machine learning platform. The software is designed to optimize radio frequency (RF) signal processing in dense, contested environments by utilizing Contextual Machine Learning (CML). This Phase II award follows a successful Phase I feasibility demonstration, where Infleqtion was the sole participant selected to progress toward an integrated prototype for operational testing and evaluation.
The QuIRC platform addresses the computational bottleneck of interpreting high-throughput RF data streams. By capturing contextual correlations across large datasets using GPU-hosted CML technology, the software reduces the volume of data that must be stored or transmitted without compromising signal analysis accuracy. In preliminary naval demonstrations, Infleqtion validated significant reductions in signal storage requirements, a critical capability for maintaining situational awareness on platforms with limited bandwidth or storage capacity.
The next stage of development will introduce self-learning capabilities, allowing the QuIRC platform to dynamically adapt its processing models based on real-time contextual feedback. This advancement aims to provide the Navy with a deployable capability for rapid decision-making in dynamic electronic warfare and communication environments. The project integrates with Infleqtion’s broader portfolio of neutral-atom hardware and its Superstaq software platform, reinforcing the company's role as a primary developer of quantum-informed solutions for the U.S. Department of Defense and NASA.
