Qoro Quantum Secures $750,000 Pre-Seed to Orchestrate Hybrid Networks

Qoro Quantum, a London-based deep-tech startup, has raised $750,000 in pre-seed funding to address the integration bottleneck between classical and quantum computing. The round was led by Ada Ventures, with participation from Superangels Venture Fund and the Polsky Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Founded in 2024 by CEO Dan Holme (formerly of Cisco) and CTO Stephen DiAdamo (PhD in distributed quantum computing), the company focuses on building the "nervous system" for heterogeneous compute environments, treating CPUs, GPUs, and quantum processors as a single logical machine.

The company’s platform provides a unified orchestration layer that aims to reduce the massive coding overhead typically required for hybrid systems. According to Ada Ventures, Qoro’s software stack can reduce approximately 150,000 lines of integration code to just 20, allowing developers to build applications once and deploy them across multi-vendor clusters. The platform operates on a two-tier model: Solo, a self-serve cloud platform for developers, and an enterprise tier designed for high-value workloads at scale. This middleware approach is intended to democratize access to quantum-safe and hybrid workflows, positioning Qoro as the "Anyscale of quantum."

The capital will be used to expand the engineering team and accelerate the rollout of the hybrid software layer ahead of the company's next funding round. Qoro has already moved beyond the conceptual phase, securing validated enterprise pilots that demonstrate the platform's ability to automate algorithm execution and manage real-time resource allocation. As enterprises transition toward hybrid workflows between 2026 and 2028, Qoro aims to become an operationally essential broker layer, capturing value in the software infrastructure market that supports the burgeoning quantum hardware sector.
